Lauki sabudana kheer

Ingredients of Lauki sabudana kheer:
- 500 gm lauki(bottle gourd)
- 750 ml milk
- 1/2 cup sabudana(sago)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp pista
- 1 tbsp almonds
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 2 tsp ghee
- drops rose essence few
- 1 tsp kesar
- 2-3 pinches green colour
Method for "Lauki sabudana kheer":
- Soak sago in water +green colour for 10 mins and drain and keep aside for 1 hour..In between sprinkle some water on it..
- Peel and discard the middle and grate bottle gourd.(put grated gourd in water to prevent it from darkening)
- Drain and pulse it twice in a grinder just to make it little small..take a vessel add ghee and put laukki and roast it till all the water evaporates. Add in the pre boiled milk+ plus soaked sago +sugar and cook till done and add milk powder mixed in milk cook...add rose essence.and boil for 2 mins and done garnish with nuts
