Kheer of Pumpkin(Kaddu)

Ingredients of Kheer of Pumpkin(Kaddu):
- 250 gm red Pumpkin (Kaddu)
- 1 litre boiled Milk
- 100 gm grated Nolen Gur (Khajoor gud)
- 1 tbsp Desi Ghee
- 1 tbsp sugar (or more/less according to your taste for sweet)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp grated Mawa
- 1 tbsp dry Coconut powder
- 1 tbsp Cardamon powder
- 1 tbsp chopped dry fruits
- Some Saffron strands (Keshar) dipped in warm milk.(Optional)
Method for "Kheer of Pumpkin(Kaddu)":
- Wash and peel off the hard skin of the Pumpkin and grate finely.
- Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat the ghee. Fry the grated Pumpkin adding salt and sugar in low medium flame till all the water dried up.
- Now add milk and stirr continuously. When milk start boiling, add grated gud,Mawa and coconut powder.
- Stirr continuously to get a thick consistency you want.
- Mix Saffron and Cardamon powder to the Kheer. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and nuts.
- Yummy and delicious Kheer is ready to serve. Thanks âº
