Ingredients of Hummus:
- 300 gr cooked chickpeas
- 100 gr tahini
- 7 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2-3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 3 tsp olive oil
Method for "Hummus":
- Drain the chickpeas and put all ingrediends in a blender. You may want to start with half the lemon, garlic and salt and add the rest as you continue (to make it to your taste)
- Blend everything. Taste and add the rest of the lemon, garlic and salt. You should end up with a smooth paste, more garlicky than sweet. If it is too thick add some water.
- Serve it with some olive oil on top and accompany with vegetables and pita breads
