  • 1 cup All purpose flour/maida-
  • 10-15 Dates pitted (any type. I used Medjool dates)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder-
  • 1/2 cup Milk or as needed to make a thick batter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract-
  • To grease Butter
  • As needed Honey or Maple syrup –

Method for "Healthy Dates Pancake":

  1. Soak the dates in warm water for 15 mins. In a blender, mix together the all purpose flour, baking powder, dates, vanilla extract, and milk to form a thick batter. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, add a small amount of butter to grease the pan. Pour a large spoonful of the batter onto the pan and cook until the surface is bubbly and turns golden brown, then flip it over and cook for 2-3 mins on the other side as well. Serve hot with honey or maple syrup.
