Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients of Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Light brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 5 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 2 stick butter
- 2 cup cream cheese
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Method for "Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting":
- In a sml. bowl add all dry ingredients.
- In a lg. bowl add moist ingredients.
- Add dry ingredients to moist ingredients. Blend together and pour batter into a ungreased 9 X 13 pan.
- Bake for 20 min. at 350Â°. Rotate and bake for 20 more min.
- Roast pecans for 10 min.
- Let cake cool for 2 hrs. before adding frosting.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over frosting.
